Although the illustrations are created in a typical American-comic style, the work as a whole has not necessarily been unified in that style, which is an interesting point of dojinshi. It is obvious from the illustration shown that they have been strongly influenced by Frank Frazetta and Barry Windsor-Smith in 1980s.
